Expressions Dance Company

Expressions Performing Arts Center is happy to have the Expressions Dance Company as part of our performing arts program! We love to watch our Company dancers as they grow in their dance knowledge and skills, as performers, and as individuals in a positive group/team setting.

What is the Expressions Dance Company?

Company is a unique dance group opportunity that we love to have available for our students ages 5 – 17. Company members get to partake in classes that challenge their dance abilities as well as build confidence and skill levels at a higher level while learning to dance, perform, and create as a non-competitive dance company unit with their appropriate group level.

How does a student become a part of the Expressions Dance Company?

All dancers, whether new to tryout or returning Company members, audition in the late summer/early fall of each dance year. Students can sign-up for auditions themselves, or have a letter of recommendation from a current Expressions staff member presented to a student to audition.

When are Company auditions? — ** Our 2025-2026 Season Company Auditions are scheduled for August 16th at our studio! If your child is interested in auditioning, just send us an email to info@expressionspac.com and we will be sure to add your child to our registration list.

Can’t attend on August 16th? Not to worry! You can make arrangements for a private audition! ** Contact us to be added to our email list so you don’t miss out on our Auditions Schedule Announcements!

What types of activities does the Expressions Dance Company participate in?

Expressions enjoys providing performance opportunities for our Company dancers (as well as some for our students in regularly scheduled studio classes) throughout the year. These performances allow the students to show off their dance skills, build confidence, and learn develop in areas such as showmanship, presentation, and the joy of performing for others. These performances include but are not limited to Expressions Holiday and Spring Showcases, Shrewsbury, Stewartstown and surrounding community parades, Stewartstown Tree Lighting, the Night Market at Aviator, Stewartstown Lions Fall Fest, community festivals and events, in-house studio performance opportunities and studio open house events.
